Arrival
Hohensalzburg Fortress and the Salzburg Residenz are in the heart of Salzburg, the city of Mozart.
Hohenwerfen Fortress is about 40km south of Salzburg and easily reached via the A10 Tauern Motorway, exit at Werfen.
Mauterndorf Castle is also easily accessible by road. Drive on the A10 Tauern Motorway to the St. Michael exit.
Then follow the B96 and the B99 to Mauterndorf.
